Living in Victory
Romans 12:14–21
We are called to live above the battle. There is a difference between living in victory and just surviving the fight.
God hasn’t called us merely to survive—He’s called us to walk in victory. Jesus has already won the victory.
1. Bless Anyway
“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.”
The flesh says, “You hurt me, so I’m going to hurt you.”
The Spirit says, “Love them anyway. Bless them anyway. Pray for them anyway. Speak life anyway.”
This isn’t a personality trait—it’s the result of transformation that happens when we give our lives fully to Jesus.
2. Walk Hand in Hand
We don’t have to agree on everything, but we are called to live in humility and harmony with one another.
“Live in harmony with one another…”
Celebrate others’ victories. Weep with those who weep.
When the Holy Spirit fills us, He allows us to meet people right where they are.
3. Do Good
We’ve been called to defeat the darkness by overcoming evil with good.
Satan wants to drag us down by making us fight fire with fire, but the Spirit of God calls us to fight fire with living water—the power that only Jesus can provide.
When we yield to the Holy Spirit, it changes the way we live.
Do good.
Don’t let your pain define who you are.
We don’t react to evil—we redeem it.
