Cedar Crossing Church of God ("we," "us," or "the church") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and related services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a Connect Card, serve interest form, On-Ramp reservation, baptism sign-up, prayer request, or other form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, household or family details you choose to share, and your answers to form questions. If you consent to text messages, we record that consent along with the date, time, and form where it was given.
Online giving. Gifts made through our website are processed by Tithe.ly. We receive your name, contact details, and gift amount for receipts and records. We do not receive or store your full payment card or bank account numbers.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, to keep the site secure and available. If you accept optional cookies, we may also collect anonymous usage analytics as described under Cookies below.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your requests, questions, and prayer needs.
- To follow up with new guests and help you take a next step, such as serving, baptism, or a group.
- To send announcements, reminders, and updates you have asked for by email or text message.
- To process gifts and provide giving statements and receipts.
- To coordinate ministry participation, including children's check-in and volunteer scheduling.
- To keep our website secure and understand how it is used so we can improve it.
Text Messages (SMS)
If you check the text message consent box on one of our forms, we may send you church announcements, event reminders, and follow-up messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel or HELP for help. Full program details are in our Mobile Messaging Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except for the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only for that purpose:
- Forms, email, and text messaging are provided through a customer communication platform (GoHighLevel, also known as LeadConnector) that stores form submissions and sends messages on our behalf.
- Church records are kept in Planning Center, which we use for our people database, service scheduling, groups, and children's check-in.
- Online giving is processed by Tithe.ly.
- Website hosting and security are provided by Cloudflare.
- Sermon videos are hosted by YouTube. Playing a video on our site loads content from YouTube, which is subject to Google's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our congregation, especially children and vulnerable adults.
Cookies and Analytics
Essential cookies are set by our hosting provider for security and to remember your cookie choice. These are required for the site to work and cannot be turned off.
Optional cookies for analytics or marketing are only set if you choose "Accept" on the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site, fill out forms, or give online.
Sermon videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set advertising cookies until you play a video.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Information about children for check-in and ministry purposes is collected from parents or guardians and kept in our church records system.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and for church records. We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and limited staff access to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
