Scripture: John 20:19-22
Jesus was alive. The disciples were hiding. They were living in fear.
The question is this: Why do we stay in our own self made tombs and graves?
1. Fear Will Keep You Locked In A Grave!
Fear keeps us locked down from the things Jesus has set us free from.
Fear shuts down our purpose and calling.
It keeps us stuck in yesterday.
2. Jesus Will Come To You But He Won’t Leave You In A Grave!
John 20:19
We were are in fear and uncertainty, in that moment Jesus shows up and rescues us.
The doors were locked, but that didn’t stop him.
Jesus come looking for us! He doesn’t leave us there.
Nothing can separate us from his love.
He doesn’t just show up. He shows up to change our situation.
3. The Resurrection Demands That We Get Up AND Go!
Resurrection demands a response
He rose to send us. Go into all the world and make disciples.
If he got up, we have to get up:
From our fear.
From our apathy
From our comfort
